Improved maintainability and reduced running costs

The company was considering using TCG Cam Rings to drive its rotary table but wanted to use full rings because of the equipment specifications. However, replacing the rings will require significant disassembly work during equipment maintenance.

Solution/Countermeasure

The size of the full ring was changed to circular arc rings.

Effects/Benefits

Doing so reduced man-hours during maintenance and even improved maintainability and lowered running costs since only the sections that needed replacing were replaced.
