Oct-1980: Current chairman establishes Kamo Seiko Corp. in Kakimoto-cho, Toyota City, with a capital of 1.5 million yen for manufacturing and selling industrial pneumatic equipment.
May-1985: Increased capital to 6 million yen and built a factory on adjacent land.
Dec-1985: Successfully developed the world’s first Ball Reducer.
Jan-1986: University of Yamanashi’s Professor Hiroshi Makino presents the theory of the Ball Reducer at the Japan Society for Precision Engineering.
Jul-1986: Recognized by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) as a company that provides technical development assistance for Ball Reducer research and development.
May-1987: Ball Reducer commercialized and released.
Feb-1988: Ball Reducer wins the 13th Invention Award for Invention Merit.
Oct-1988: Ball Reducer receives US patent.
Mar-1989: Ball Reducer wins the 1989 Japan Society for Precision Engineering Award.
Apr-1990: Increased capital to 20 million yen.
May-1990: Constructed new head office and factory in Fujioka-cho, Nishikamo-gun, Aichi Prefecture, and fully relocated to the said locations.
Apr-1994: Increased capital to 35 million yen.
Nov-1994: Ball Reducer wins the Science and Technology Agency Director-General’s Prize
Mar-1995: Held first exhibition in Chicago, US.
Mar-1996: Ball Reducer receives Japanese Patent.
Feb-1997: Increased capital to 85 million yen.
Jan-1998: Released straight-line drive unit TCG Runner.
Feb-1998: Ball Cam Indexing Device wins the Mochida Invention Merit Award at the 23rd Invention Awards.
Mar-1998: Opened a liaison office in Seoul, Korea.
May-1998: Certified as an Aichi Prefecture Creative Activity Law Company.
Jan-2000: TCG Runner patented in Japan (acquired in 5 countries).
Dec-2000: Acquired land adjacent to the head office for a factory.
Jan-2002: TCG Runner wins the Chunichi Industrial Technology Award.
Feb-2003: TCG Runner wins the 28th Invention Award for Distinguished Invention.
Feb-2004: Certified as an Aichi Monodzukuri Brand Company by Aichi Prefecture.
Jul-2005: Formed TCG Series license agreement with Nexen Group, Inc., US.
Oct-2006: Liaison office established in Nanjing, China.
Jun-2007: Selected as one of the Genki na Monozukuri Chusho Kigyo 300 Companies (300 Small and Medium Enterprises of Vibrant Manufacturing) by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
Aug-2007: Ball Reducer receives the Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Award for Excellence from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Aug-2009: Third plant completed and in operation; TCG series production increased.
Aug-2010: Korean Liaison Office renamed KAMO FA and became a local subsidiary (wholly owned subsidiary).
Oct-2012: SFP wins Good Design Award.
Jan-2014: Genta Imase appointed as President and Representative Director.
Jan-2014: Kenji Imase appointed as Board Chairman.
Jun-2016: Appeared on NHK General TV “Chouzetsu Sugo Waza! SP Kyuukyoku no Haguruma Taiketsu ~ Kogata Mōtā de Reizōko o Mochiagero!”
May-2018: Published Chiisana Kojo no Monodzukuri Tamashi ~ Kakkitekina Jisha Seihin de Ichiba o Sekken suru~ (Monodzukuri Spirit of a Small Factory: Taking the Market by Storm with Groundbreaking Original Products).
Nov-2019: Chairman Kenji Imase receives the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in autumn.
Oct-2019: The China Liaison Office becomes a local subsidiary of Kamo Conduction Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (wholly owned subsidiary).
Jun-2020: Second domestic manufacturing base completed and begins operations in Eastern Industrial Park, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture.
